We are pleased to report that selected courses are now offered via the MyCompetence platform to entire companies as well as private individuals.

MyCompetence is TÜV Rheinland Akademie’s e-learning portal which offers online training courses about digitalization, software, personal development, occupational safety, and much more. You can book the courses for one employee as well as for a larger group of participants. All online courses are checked by selected specialists and experts from TÜV Rheinland for their didactically prepared and suitable content. We at University4Industry alongside myCompetence.de want to ensure a high quality of the courses.

Together we aim to close individual competence gaps in the professional context. We want to support companies in a targeted manner to build up exactly the knowledge that is needed – no more, but no less. In doing so, we present learners with general overviews of digitization and we impart tools and instruments for digitization. Our training, which is offered on the MyCompetence platform, includes the following courses:

  • What is digitization in industry?
  • Practical examples of Industrie 4.0 implementation
  • Agile product development
  • Social engineering
  • Introduction to RFID: industrial applications
  • Possible applications of RFID
  • Blockchain: The most important facts
  • Demonstrations and applications of blockchain technology
  • Digital twin and virtual engineering
  • Basic understanding and practical examples of the administration shell
  • Machine learning: Fields of application and basic ideas

Let’s take a closer look at the learning content, learning objectives and target groups of three courses. The following gives you an insight into what keeps us busy every day:

  1. What is Digitization in Industry?
  2. Advanced Analytics with Machine Learning
  3. Agile Product Development

Course 1: What is Digitization in Industry? (approx. 1 hour)

This course aims to develop a basic knowledge about digitization and Industrie 4.0 and how they are changing the world. In this course we want to support all employees to establish a common language for what Industrie 4.0 and digitization mean.
