Online Courses Industrial IoT & Connectivity
With the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and Industrie 4.0, the next industrial revolution and the next step in productivity increase are not far. Connectivity and digital twins are at the heart of this wave. We describe underlying methods and concepts like the asset administration shell, digital factory and RAMI 4.0, teach protocols and technologies like IO-Link, OPC UA, and MQTT, and introduce common use cases such as condition monitoring or asset management.
These courses were produced with companies and institutions such as the VDMA, Fraunhofer, Pepperl+Fuchs, and HARTING, and features interviews with experts including Benedikt Rauscher, Prof. Stefan Berlik.

Dr. Gunnar Schönhoff
Gunnar has a PhD in physics and manages various customer projects, particularly in the automotive and automation sector. He focuses on industrial IoT, connectivity, and digital twins. Before joining U4I, the doctor of physics worked in university research, including 2D materials.
